Handmade lighting fixtures

The very purpose of Tungstene Creative Lighting is to design the perfect lighting fixture for each client. Our products are handmade one at a time with the greatest of care by our skilled craftspeople, in our own workshop.

The pictures of products shown on our website are accurate representations of the range of models that we offer. However, since each item is handmade, there may be subtle variations from one product to the next.

Delivery times

Our manufacturing lead times are from eight to ten weeks for standard lighting fixtures. If you wish to have your product(s) delivered within a shorter timeframe, this can be discussed when ordering.

If a product is out of stock but can be ordered or is currently on back order, we will contact you. You will receive your order once the raw materials needed to create the product are received.
If a product is out of stock and can no longer be ordered, we will contact you to inform you.

Products are usually delivered by GLS/DICOM. Once the production process is completed, it takes two to three business days on average to deliver the products.

Cancelling or changing an order

You may cancel with a refund or change your order within 48 hours from the time of purchase in writing by emailing us at info@tungstene.ca.

Beyond this time limit, it will be impossible for us to accept any requests to cancel or change your order.

Returns

Due to the nature of our business activities involving the production of custom lighting fixtures made piece by piece, returns are not accepted.

Since Tungstene does not offer any “ready-to-go” products and all our lamps are made and painted to order so as to suit each customer’s taste and needs, we do not accept returns. It is the responsibility of customers to keep their order once it is produced, unless a production mistake was made. If such is the case, please see the section Returns in case of production mistake or defect.

Returns in case of production mistake or defect

In the event of a manufacturing mistake or defect, you can contact us by email at info@tungstene.ca or by telephone at 514 532-1250 to obtain our approval of a return or more details on the return procedure.

Each piece returned must come with an RMA (return merchandise authorization) adequately identified.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required before returning any merchandise. To avoid damage to the merchandise, please use sturdy packaging. You are responsible for packing the merchandise properly. If it arrives damaged, credit will be refused. Nothing out of a box will be accepted.

Please note that Tungstene Luminaires Créatifs reserves the right at all times to turn down a return and refuse to refund shipping charges, if the return was not approved by our team or if a client did not previously obtain an RMA from us.

Damage in transit

Before signing the shipper’s receipt, it is important to examine the condition of the box containing your lighting fixture. If the box was damaged in transit, please take a picture of the damage.

If you notice that your product is also damaged after opening the package, take pictures again and contact us by email at info@tungstene.ca in the seven (7) days following receipt of your package.

If we confirm that the product is indeed defective, you will have to return the broken, unassembled item to us in its original packaging, at our expense. We will then return your product in good condition to you at no additional cost.

Warranty

Products purchased from Tungstene at our shop, on our website or from an authorized dealer are guaranteed for up to five (5) years from delivery. This warranty is valid for damage incurred under normal use and excludes breakage caused by accident, misuse or negligence.

Claims must be submitted by email to info@tungstene.ca, together with a photograph showing the defect at issue. Tungstene reserves the right to inspect your lighting fixture. If the product is actually found to be defective, we will send you a new item and cover delivery charges.

Certification

All our lighting fixtures are UL/ULC certified.

All rights to reproduce the written and visual contents of this website are fully reserved to Tungstene Creativ Lighting.

We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our customers and visitors to our website. It is for this reason that we have taken and will continue to take every possible means to protect your personal data collected through our website or during discussions with you.

Prices

Prices may change without affecting placed orders. Under no circumstances shall customers request discounts that are no longer in effect on the day of their orders. Quoted prices are valid for a period of 30 days. If your order is confirmed 30 days after the quote, prices may be adjusted, if necessary.
